Frugal Living NW will always have a soft spot in my heart as the host of the first blog giveaway I ever won. But beyond that, this site offers two great weekly features. First, matchups for Safeway. I alternate between Safeway and Fred Meyer for my weekly grocery shopping and Frugal Living NW is my go-to blog to see what deals Safeway is offering.
Secondly, there is a daily post with the top printable coupons for the day. I can't print coupons at work, so when I get home I always check out this post to see which coupons I want to print for that day.
I asked Angela from Frugal Living NW for her top piece of advice for Coupon Newbies. Here is what she said:
"Start slowly. Pick one grocery store and start doing deals there and only there. Master that store. Then move to another one. Once you've mastered two grocery stores, you probably have the skills, confidence and experience to start playing a drug store. Don't try to do too much at once."
Starting to sound familiar? This is pretty much the Coupon Newbie advice that Crystal from Frugal Chic Living and Angela from The Coupon Project gave earlier this week. Listen to these ladies. They know what they are talking about.
