Diaper Comparison

Diapers are expensive. Especially if you are a diaper snob. We have tried several kinds of diapers over the past year and a half and found that Pampers are the only thing that works for us. We have been buying diapers exclusively at Babies R Us, but about a month ago I decided to do a diaper comparison to see if we could do better. Turns out, we can! I hope you can, too.
The prices below are for 2 cases of Size 4 Pampers Cruisers. Prices were current as of 12/14/2010.

Babies 'R Us

The best way to buy Pampers at BRU is when they are offering a $15 gift card back on your purchase of 2 cases. Through the 'R US rewards card, BRU also offers a free case of diapers after you purchase 10 cases. I took both those deals into account in my comparison.

$39.98/140 diapers
X 2
= $79.96
- $15 gift card back
= $ 64.96
Factoring 11th box free

I haven't ordered from Diapers.com before, but I had heard good things about them. At the time I did this comparison, they were offering a 30% back promo to use on your next order.

$43.99/140 diapers
X 2
= $87.98
- 30% cash back

= 61.59

If you are a mom and you haven't signed up for Amazon Mom, do it now. I'll do another post on all the benefits, but trust me....it's great! The other key to this deal is the Subscribe and Save option. Basically you schedule deliverys of the product (every 1, 2, 3, or 6 months) and save an additional 15%. But you can cancel the other delivery at any point after the first delivery has shipped without any impact on the discount.

40.80/140 diapers
X 2
= $81.60
- 15% Amazon Mom discount
- 15% Subscribe and Save discount

But wait, I was able to get these diapers for even cheaper!

40.80/140 diapers
X 2
= $81.60
- 15% Amazon Mom discount
- 15% Subscribe and Save discount

- 20% code from Parents Magazine (thanks, Renee!)
- $10.00 in Amazon gift cards earned on Swagbucks
+ 4.56 tax

Now that is a deal!

  1. I don't have words to describe how much I love Amazon...& Swagbucks! I made another purchase that got me 12 months of Amazon Prime via Amazon Mom. Even without the Swagbucks, you're right....Amazon is great for diapers.

Diapers.com has lightening fast shipping, BTW. Usually orders arrive the next day!
